Today we are going to learn how to differentiate between male illustrations, between a cool boy illustration and a cute boy illustration.

There are 3 points that are important to make the characters different.

Shape of the nose
Neck thickness

Point 1. Position of the eyebrows

If you are drawing a cool boy, close the distance between the eyes and eyebrows.

This makes the face look chiseled and gives a cool vibe.

For a cute boy, on the other hand, you can separate the distance between the eyes and eyebrows to make the character look cute.

You can also separate the distance between the eyebrows.

Point 2. Shape of the nose

You can draw the nose sharply from the right below the eyebrows to make it look cool.

Draw discreet lines if you want it to look cute.

These are both male characters though, so instead of drawing no line at all, you might want to draw at least short lines to make your characters look like boys.

Point 3. Neck thickness

Draw strong, thick necks for cool boys.

If you are drawing monochrome illustrations, you could add shadows along with the neck muscles.

For cute boys, make their necks a little thinner.

Be careful not to make them too slim.
