[Filter] Try Lens Blur to blur your backgrounds!

Try the “Lens Blur” feature!

  1. 1

“I’ve finished drawing my art, but I want to highlight the main character more…” If you think like this, what you need is a filter called “Lens Blur”

  2. 2

Lens blur is available by selecting it in the following steps.

    【iPhone・iPad】
With the layer you want to blur selected, click the three dots icon and select “Filter” -> “Lens Blur”.

    【Android】
With the layer you want to blur selected, click the three dots icon and select “Filter List” -> “Lens Blur”.

    【PC】
From the menu bar at the top of the window, select “Filter” -> “Lens Blur”.

  3. 3

In the setting window, adjust the blur intensity in the Radius and the light intensity in the Brightness.

  4. 4

With a blurred background and a clear, sharp character, the art now has a great contrast between nature and character!

  5. 5

You may be thinking “there’s Gaussian blur for blurring backgrounds, what’s the difference?
Whereas Gaussian Blur is for the whole image, Lens Blur is for highlighting lights with circular shapes, resulting in more dramatic blurred backgrounds!

  6. 6

Plus, by adding a strong blur to distant objects and a weak blur to near objects, you can create a three-dimensional effect!
Now is the time to create fantastic art with Lens Blur!
