Let’s Draw Manga For Beginners (1) ~Preparation~【iPad】

1. Creating a new project on Cloud

Let’s start off by creating a new project on the Cloud.

1 From the left side menu on the home screen, choose “My Gallery”.

Tap on the “Comic” tab inside My Gallery.

Choose the + (plus icon) at the top right corner, having selected the Comic tab.

2 Tap on on the right side of the screen and change the settings for each item.

3 Tap on “Finish” and you have your canvas ready.
Below is the list of manga projects.

4 Tap on the first page and your canvas will be displayed.

When you want to move to the other pages,
① Choose “My Gallery” from home screen
② Choose the “Comic” tab from My Gallery
③ Select the project you want to open
and a list of your manga projects (a list of pages) will be displayed, so double tap on the page you want to move to.

2. Creating a name

1 From the tool menu on the top left of the screen, choose the Brush Tool and select Pen inside the brush menu.

※When you want to draw lines, use the Brush Tool【Pen】as the standard tool.

2 The name is complete

3. Creating the layer

I will explain about creating a layer.
（When you create a new file, it contains a single layer by default）

1 Tap on the icon at the top right corner and you will see the layer menu on the right.

Tap the Add Layer icon on the left of the layer menu.

You can choose from various types of layers.
Tap on Color Layer.

2 Choose the layer you just created and tap on the gear icon to change its title.

By changing layers for every process, editing and adding in drawings will be much more efficient later.
