The pen tablet’s writing pressure is not recognized correctly.

Restart your PC and see if the problem is resolved.

If the problem persists after you restart your PC, try the following steps.

If you are using Wacom tablets

  1. Uninstall the tablet driver and delete any unnecessary files (For information on how to delete unnecessary files, contact the manufacturer).
  2. Download the latest driver for your PC and tablet OS from the manufacturer’s driver download page. Install the driver using the correct procedure.
  3. Restart your PC.

If the problem persists after you have tried the above steps, please let us know using the contact form, including the model number of your tablet, the version of the driver you have installed, and a description of the problem you are experiencing.

If you are using other manufacturers’ tablets than Wacom

Update your tablet driver to the latest version and see if this solves the problem.

If the problem persists after you update the driver, open the Brush Environment Settings window from the File menu. Then try the following steps to see if the problem is resolved.

  1. Change the items in the Brush Coordinate.
  2. Deselect the “Validate native OS pen pressure detection” checkbox in the Pen Pressure Detection.
  3. Check the “Ignore tablet event” box in the Pen Pressure Detection.
  4. Change the conditions in the check list of the Pen Pressure Detection to find the combination that works correctly.
  5. Check the “Check if there is a problem with HUION Tablet” in the Pen Tablet.

Some tablets may work correctly if you check the “Validate native OS pen pressure detection” checkbox in the Pen Pressure Detection with the driver uninstalled.

Non-Wacom tablets are not currently supported as we have not yet prepared the environment for verification. So please note that if the problem persists after you’ve tried all of the above, we have no further guidance to offer.
