Using Cloud Fonts
Let’s take a look!
Often used for subtitles on TV programmes.
(Recently known as being used for TV subtitles. Best suited for short and large sentences such as titles, headlines and advertising slogans.)
As the name suggests, you can feel the color and strength of the “iron” but the font gives a charming and cheerful vibe too.
Recommended for short and big sized texts like the title and advertising slogans.
Similar to the Chinese brush calligraphy style. The lettering has an energetic pop vibe.
(Reflects the stroke styles of Chinese calligraphy. This font is fitting for speech lines that portray the powerful emotions of youthful characters.)
In addition to depicting the dynamic yet casual image, this font is also fitting for illustrating intense emotions in the youthful scene.
This is the textbook font, following the proper stroke orders and brush strokes of traditional Japanese calligraphy.
It’s characterized by its clean balance, easy to read with both vertically and horizontally structured texts.
This font is perfect for school textbooks and study aids.
(Textbook fonts depicting the correct brush strokes of calligraphy. It has a great balance, making it easy to be read both vertically and horizontally. This font can be found in textbooks and reference books.)
I also recommend using this font for letters, greetings and business cards.
This font is shaped in a gorgeous and refined form.
(This design washes off the rawness of Japanese texts. I recommend using this refined and elegant form for logos too. It can create a nervous effect when used for long sentences.)
Not only does it portray the modern and chic atmosphere, but it can also be used for portraying nervousness in long texts.
This font contains the spiritual vibe and the image of clerical script.
It’s characterized by the small and sharp decorations at the edges of each stroke.
(Based on the clerical script. Sharp edges around the beginning and the end of each stroke. Useful for ads, slogans and promotions etc. in scenes appealing to the audience.)
The thickness and boldness of this font allow for a comedic tone. I recommend this font when you want to let the text appeal to your audience, like in campaigns, slogans and sales promotions or advertisements.
With very clear strokes and stops, this font adds elegance to the regular script.
When written in the vertical direction, it can illustrate the beautiful flow of brush strokes.
(Each stroke is written very clearly. The standard script with high elegance. Flows perfectly when written in the vertical structure.)
Besides its use for greetings, new year’s greetings and business cards, this font is often seen in occasions respecting the traditions and culture, such as in awards and appreciation letters.
