【PC】Using the Text Tool
MediBang Paint makes it easy to add text to your canvas using the Text Tool.
By using the MediBang Paint Text Tool, you will be able to use your keyboard to input text. You will find the Text Tool icon on the left toolbar.
Using the Text Tool will create a new layer just for text on your canvas. These are called “text layers”
Text Layers are a unique type of layer that can save inputted text data to be further edited later if the file is saved under the MDP format.
Text Layers are only for inputting text and cannot be drawn on using tools such as the Brush, as seen in the image below. If you wish to use other tools on the Text Layer, you will need to “Rasterize” the layer.
After rasterizing the Text Layer, you will be able to treat it like a normal Color Layer and edit it with the Brush Tool, but you will no longer be able to edit the text contents.
