The Ver.4.0 update for MediBang Paletta (formerly Medibang Pro) will be released on Dec. 23, 2025.
As part of this update, we will be adding new features and making improvements to existing features so that drawing is easier and more enjoyable for you.
? MediBang Paletta Ver.4.0 Update Details:
1. Application Name Change
We will be officially changing the name of the application from ‘Medibang Pro’ to ‘MediBang Paletta’.
In accordance with this, we will update the App Store details and logo design.
2. Home and Settings
The Settings and Home icons will be merged to create a simpler, easier-to-understand UI.
3. Reference Window
A new feature has been added to the Reference window.
Users will be able to switch between viewing reference images and their entire canvas in the Reference window.
4. Add Menu
The Add menu will merge the Shape, Material, Text, and Panel Divide tools under a single menu.
Users will be able to continue using the above tools in their existing placement if they so wish.
5. Adjustments to the Ad Timer
The interval of ads for free users will be changed to one per 30 minutes.
*Ver.4.0 is slated for release on Dec. 23
