Chromatic Aberration

Give your work a cool futuristic look with the Chromatic Aberration filter.

What is Chromatic Aberration?

Chromatic Aberration is a lens effect seen in traditional photography that causes a slight rainbow-colored “halo” in the photograph. It happens in a real camera lens when all colors of light do not focus to a single point together. Expensive camera lenses have very strong light focus, and cheap camera lenses do not.

How to Add Chromatic Aberration

In MediBang Pro, you can use Chromatic Aberration to give your image a cool futuristic look, or just add a sense of realism to the piece by using the effect very sparingly.

Click Filter>Chromatic Aberration.

In the pop-up window, you will see two slides labeled X and Y. Adjust these from left to right until you achieve the desired effect, and then click the check mark.
